Hidden treasures of family that have come and gone and/ or since passed.”
Jimmy Papadakis, of James Coney Island, walked into my resale boutique in Houston. He was cleaning out closets and drawers. He said Debbie, I need your help! He unloaded boxes of jewelry. The costume jewelry was inventoried and placed in jewelry cases at B'Dazzled for months before something came over me … I needed to look at this more closely. To my surprise, I researched the designer Iradj Moini, a signed floral bouquet brooch. The Louvre in Paris popped up. Oh my!!! I contacted one of my French-speaking chefs, Bertrand Oriot, and we contacted The Louvre.
This story could go on and it does, but getting to the point, you never know what treasures are lurking in drawers or closets.
