The unofficial results are in pending certification for the 2026 Primary Elections. Nominees will face off in the general election in November. If no candidate in the primary election received the majority vote, the top two will go head-to-head in a runoff in May.
State-wide
- Gina Hinojosa (D) will face Greg Abbott (R) for Governor.
- Vikki Goodwin (D) will challenge Marcos Velez (D) in a bid to unseat Dan Patrick, (R), incumbent for Lt. Governor.
- Benjamin Flores (D) will challenge Dawn Buckingham (R), incumbent, for Land Commissioner.
- Clayton Tucker (D) will challenge Nate Sheets (R) for Ag. Commissioner.
- Nathan Johnson will face off with Joe Jaworski, Democrats for the Attorney General and Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy will face off in May as Republicans for Attorney General.
- State Rep. James Talarico (D) defeated U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D) for U.S. Senate - John Cornyn (R) and Ken Paxton (R) will face a runoff in May.
- Lawrence Brandyburg (D) will challenge Dennis “Goose” Geesaman (R) for Texas House District 85. *Geesaman defeated long-time incumbent Stan Kitzman.
- U. S. Rep. Tony Gonzales (D) will face gun rights activist Brandon Herrera (D).
- Sarah Echardt (D) will chal- lenge Don Huffines (R) for comp troller.
- Erica Gillum (D) will challenge Lois Kolkhorst (R), incumbent, for Texas Senate District 18.
