KC TO HOLD FISH FRIES

SEALY — The Sealy Knights of Columbus announce the return of their annual Famous Lenten Fish Fry, at the Sealy Columbus Club Hall at 1310 Hwy 90 West in Sealy, every Friday during Lent. Serving drive thru only, from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m., for only $15 a plate. Cash or most ma- jor credit cards accepted. Menu will include fried fish, French fries, pinto beans, coleslaw and hush puppies.

Proceeds will benefit Sealy KC programs.

FRELSBURG KC PLANS FISH FRIES FRELSBURG — The Frelsburg Knights of Columbus Council No. 5157 will sponsor its Friday Night Fish Fries, through March 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Diamond Center in Frelsburg. The catfish meals, dine in or plates to go, are $15 per plate and fish by the

pound $15 per pound. Homemade desserts will be avail- able by St. Anne's Altar Society. Raffle tickets will be available.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME EASTER EGG HUNT

LA GRANGE — The Fayette Public Library at 855 S. Jefferson St. in La Grange will hold a fun-filled Pre school Storytime Easter Egg Hunt, Wednesday, April 1, from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Enjoy engaging stories, an egg hunt, and a special visit from JD Farming Horse Rescue, where you’ll meet adorable bunnies and mini goats. HABITAT TO HOLD FUN RUN

COLUMBUS — Colorado County Habitat for Hu- manity will hold its first 5K run/1 mile fun walk, cele brating 30 years of service, sponsored by the Wellness Council, Saturday, March 28, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at 1210 Travis St. in Columbus. Proceeds will support Habitat’s New Home Program and Critical Home Repairs for senior citizens. Community members are invited to sponsor the event, run the 5K, or walk the 1-mile course with family and friends. T-shirts and swag bags will be available. The family-friendly event is held in partnership with the Columbus Country Market and the Wellness Council Health Fair, offering additional activities for the community.

NUVFD PLANS PORK STEAK DINNER NEW ULM — The New Ulm Volunteer Fire Depart- ment will hold a pork steak dinner Saturday, April 25 with serving from 5 to 7 p.m. at the New Ulm Firemen’s Park in New Ulm. The dine-in or drive-thru meal tick ets are $15 per plate. Desserts will be available. Auction starts at 7 p.m. Proceeds will be used for the maintenance and repairs at New Ulm Firemen's Park. Raffle drawing after the auction and proceeds will go to the fire depart ment.
