SEALY — No gardener likes a weed in their garden unless it is beneficial. But the crowd each year seems to be growing faster than the beautiful plants and trees that were on sale at the annual Bluebonnet Master Gardeners’ plant sale on April 11 at Levine Park in Sealy.
As soon as the plants went on sale, eager plant lovers hit the pavilion and began filling their carts with beautiful greenery meticulously grown by trained master gardeners.
Although the pavilion was covered in plants and trees, the crowd started making short work in buying them and dreamed of setting down roots in the ground.
The funds raised during this event support scholarships and programs for Austin, Colorado, Fayette and Washington counties.
