COLUMBUS - Resi - dents of Columbus and the surrounding communities are warmly invited to come together in faith and unity for the 75th observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, at noon
on the Colorado County Courthouse Square in Co - lumbus.
This special time of prayer and reflection is pre - sented by a partnership of the Columbus Ministerial Alliance and the Columbus Christian Women Orga - nization, who are joining together to encourage the community to pause, pray, and seek God's guidance for our nation, our leaders, and one another.
The National Day of Prayer is a long-standing tradition observed across the country, bringing people of all backgrounds together in a spirit of humility and hope. In a time when many are seeking peace, direction, and connection, this gather- ing offers an opportunity
to stand united in prayer
for our families, schools, churches, businesses, and local, state, and national leaders.
The event will include a program of welcome, scrip - ture, and guided prayer, fea -
turing CMA pastors, with the Vietnam Veterans Chap ter 1127 presenting the colors and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. All are wel - come, regardless of church affiliation, and attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family, and coworkers.
Organizers emphasize that this is not only a mo- ment of reflection but also a chance to strengthen the bonds of community. By gathering together in prayer,
participants help foster a spirit of compassion, uni ty, and shared purpose throughout Columbus and beyond.
Please make plans to join your neighbors and be part of this meaningful na - tional observance right here at home.
