The Columbus High School softball team is in a position where they've been for what seems like year after year, which is making a deep run in the playoffs.
They are set to play Bishop High School at Alamo Heights in San Antonio this Thursday, May 7 at 7pm with the rest of the series' games to be determined.
As it's been said ever since he took over the helm a few years ago, head coach Alfred Rosa has done a superb job keeping this team in state tournament order.
They are also one of the few teams in the area that come with the whole package, which is pitching, hitting, and defense.
