Tri-county golfers earned their way to compete in the UIL State Golf Tournaments.
Reid Janda of Schulenburg was the only 2A boy golfer to qualify. He played at Lions Municipal Course in Austin April 27-28 and he carded an 81 in the first round and 85 in the second round for a 166 total.
The 3A girls played at Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin and the 1A girls at Crystal Falls Golf Club in Leander May 4-5.
The scores for 3A Columbus girls was Thea Schobel (78, 84), Madison McRee (87, 88), Katharine Burnett (109, 97), McKinley Wright (105, 104), and Mady Garcia (106, 108).
Representing 1A girls was Fayetteville golfer Eva Shaw (96, 91), and Round Top-Carmine golfers Angelica le Bouef (91, 97), Avery Nelius (110, 101), Alin Soto (109, 113), Makayla Smith (109, 115), Cay dan Nelius (122, 118).
