The Texas Department of Transportation will begin a project in Fayette County to rehabilitate the existing roadway on US- 77 from SH-71 to Farm-to-Market 155 on Monday, May 18, weather permitting. In order to perform a full-depth recon - struction of the existing roadway, US 77 will be closed for ap - proximately five months beginning on Monday, May 18. The limits of the road closure will be from SH 71 to BS 71E. Local traffic will still have access to US 77 within these limits.
