Beer and homemade sausage are the order of the day at the Bluff Schuet- zenFest on May 16 in La Grange on the bluff. The long table sits in the home Heinrich Kreische built on the bluff in the mid-1800s. The Kreische home is open for tours. Like good German beer, music is a German tradition, and record ing artist Darrel Appelt, right, and Randy Rodriguez, Appelt’s long-ago lead guitar partner from back in the days of Appelt's band Colorado and Hit Men, provided the beer-drinking music during the Bluff SchuetzenFest on May 16 on the bluff in La Grange.
