Weimar VFD gets a boost for much-needed equipment
Weimar Methodist Foundation selected Weimar Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) as the recipient of a $1,000,000 grant for a new pumper truck and supplementing a portion of a new tanker truck. These two apparatuses are past their recommended service life (26 years and 21 years, respectively) and desperately needed replacement to continue to provide reliable fire pro - tection. WVFD is forever grateful to the Weimar Methodist Foundation for fulfilling this tremendous need that will benefit its community for many years. They appreciate the support they have given them the past few years for much needed equipment to continue serving the Weimar area.
