state title in program history a couple years ago, the Columbus High School football team came back and put themselves right back in state title contention last year.
Columbus has had an elite culture under Schobel for a long time now and they’re proving it with how far they’ve been able to go each year with Schobel at the helm.
Columbus is very athletic and they’re well-coached. That makes for the ultimate winning combination and there’s no signs of the Cardinals slowing down in a couple months.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see them make it back to AT&T Stadium in December.
