FAYETTE COUNTY — Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that on the evening of May 27, Deputy Jose Mosqueda initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation
on Highway 71 near Boening Road.
During the course of the stop a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and multiple cases containing hundreds of assorted THC vape pens were located inside the vehicle.
The driver, Edward Segura, 34, of Buda, was arrested for the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 in an amount greater than or equal to 400 grams.
Segura was taken into custody and booked into the Dan R. Beck Justice Center in La Grange.
