AUSTIN COUNTY - Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes office advises there is an active investigation in the Brockstein Road area in Sealy regarding gun shots fired at about 4 a.m. on June 15.
Shots were fired at an Austin County resident. There were no injuries.
The Austin County Sheriff's Office and the Sealy Police Department conducted an extensive search for the suspect shooter. The shooter remains at large as of press time. The sheriff's office will contin ue to search and investigate in what is described by the sheriff's office as a critical incident until the suspect is located and apprehended.
Residents are encouraged to call the Austin County Sheriff's Office with any information about the case. The shooter is described as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing.
The sheriff's office is working several leads it has developed as of press time.
