FAIR CONTESTANTS BEING SOUGHT
COLUMBUS — Contestants are being sought for the Colorado County Fair Queen and Junior Queen contests to be held Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Founder’s Hall at the Colorado County Ag Complex and Fairground in Columbus. Girls between the ages of 15-18 can enter the Queen Scholarship Pageant and girls 11-14 can enter the Junior Queen Contest. Contestants can sign up online at www.coloradocountyfair. org. Deadline to enter is Sunday, June 28. A mandatory meeting for contestants will be held Sunday, June 28 at 6 p.m. on the grounds of the Colorado County Courthouse in Columbus.
