The Flatonia High School softball team has been impressive for at least the past few years now.
They have athletes, but they also have good coaching and leadership from head coach Shane Walker.
Flatonia has made consecutive deep runs in the playoffs with some of their best players being sophomores and juniors.
With the underclassmen playing how they have been, the future is very bright for this team as they’ve shown on paper they can compete at a high level.
Flatonia has great experience from players that will now be upperclassmen, so it’s likely they’ll go on another great run in ’26.
