AUSTIN COUNTY - The new school year is fast approaching, and the Austin County school districts have plenty of fresh faces to welcome, not just students.
Sealy ISD is welcoming 65 new teachers. Wallis ISD has 15 new teachers coming on board, and Bellville ISD and Faith Academy have 45 and 25 new teachers, respectively.
The Bellville, Sealy and Wallis chambers of commerce are encouraging businesses to help welcome new teachers and employees by donating items to fill swag bags and pro - moting each business with pencils, pens, notepads, mugs, cups, gift cards, snacks, candy, and more.
