SCHULENBURG — Navidad Valley Cattle-Women will hold their 13th Annual 5K Ranch Run on Saturday, Aug. 1, in con junction with the Schulenburg Festival. The reunion theme will continue as it has inspired family fun and teamwork for many years.
This means that along with the traditional age group prizes, there will be additional runners recognized. The categories in- clude largest family group, youngest participant, most "seasoned" participant, and runner who traveled the furthest to participate. This event will be chip-timed by Run Texas Timing Services.
The 5K will once again be followed by a 1-mile Fun Run for the youngsters not quite ready for the full 5K.
