COLUMBUS — Lois Robinson, 81, a Colorado Coun- ty resident, became a first-time author with her new book, “How Not to Grow Old,” common-sense advice for women who are aging, but not "old." This book is a good read for men, as well.
The book focuses on how to refuse to think old, live old and be defined as old. Robinson spices up her book with sto ries and humor from her childhood and her 50-year career in the business world.
"The book is a blueprint to help get the most out of the last 10-15 years of your life,” said Robinson.
The book is published by Amazon and is available in paperback on Kindle. It has earned five-star reviews from readers.
Robinson will appear at the Nesbitt Memorial Library on Monday, July 27, at 2:15 p.m., where she will read from the book and reveal all the secrets of how she wrote and self-published a book on Amazon. Everyone is invited.
