BELLVILLE — The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners of Austin County will present the 2026 Fall “Lunch-N-Learn” series, which is hosted on the third Tuesday of each month from August through November. Overall, the series features topics related to horticulture with homeowners and backyard gardeners in mind.The speak- ers are experts in their fields and practical gardeners with great tips and information for everyone.
Programs will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Ex- tension office located at 800 E Wendt St. in Bellville. Doors will open with registration beginning at 11:50 a.m., the program beginning promptly at 12 p.m., and concluding by 12:55 p.m. At the end of each session, the speaker and the Austin County Master Gardeners will be available to help answer gardening questions.
All Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn programs are free and open to the public, and you are welcome to bring your own lunch and drink. There will be a few refreshments available as well. Registration is not required but is encouraged.
Presentations for the fall will be:
• Aug. 18 – Strawberries: An Overview of How to Grow Strawberries and When is the Best Time to Plant Them by Stacie Villarreal, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County, Agriculture and Natural Resources.
• Sept. 15– Greenhouse by Rebecca Marek, Bluebonnet Master Gardener.
• Oct. 20 – Native Fall Wildflower Planting Guide by Alyssa Harmon, Sycamore Hill Nursery.
• Nov. 17 –Growing Your Own Mushrooms by Renee Kofman, Bluebonnet Master Gardener.
