SCHULENBURG — The Schulenburg Lady Horn Volleyball Team members, Kimber Bartosch, Mallory Bonner, Miranda Bonner, Reagan Dusek, Jenna Guentert, Aubryn Janda, Michaela Kollmann, Clara Magliolo, Kerr McBride, Saybra Pinney, Grace Schramek, Haylee Vacek, Greenli Van-Zandt and Landry Zapalac, are proud to announce that they are a recipient of the 2025-26 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 13th consecutive year.

There were 502 high school teams from across the United States of America that received recognition with 56 teams from Texas.

The Lady Horns also received the AVCA Team Academic Award Honor Roll for the seventh consecutive year.

This designation is for high school teams that were in the Top 20% in the United States based on their Team Cumulative GPA. The Lady Horns overall cumulative team GPA for 2025-2026 was 98.982.

There were 175 teams in the United States of America that received recognition with 19 teams from Texas.

The Lady Horn team is coached by Donald and Melissa Zapalac, and Carol Hargadine.
