Friends and fellowship highlight Walhalla Extension Education Club's Summer Luncheon

ROUND TOP — The Walhalla Extension Education Association (EEA) Club recently met for its annual summer luncheon at the Garden Company Restaurant in Round Top.

At their meeting, club members reviewed the agenda for the upcoming 2026 Texas EEA State Conference, which is highlighting the 100th anniversary of TEEA. The conference theme is “Crowned in a Century of Purpose – Honoring our Legacy, Inspiring our Future.” The event is being held in College Station at the end of August, and a variety of tours and educational programs will be offered during the week-long program. At the annual banquet, award and membership winners will be honored, including the Walhalla EEA Club as they celebrate their 90th year as a club.
