BELLVILLE — The Austin County District Attorney's Office presented copies of the newest edition of the Texas Offense Report Manual on Aug. 5 to all of area law enforcement.
Leaders from the Wallis Police Department, Sealy ISD Police Department, Sealy Police Department, DPS, San Felipe Police Department, Bellville Police Department and Austin County Sheriff's Office attended.
District Attorney Brandy Rob- inson stated, 'Each day, officers in Austin County encounter complex and unique criminal offenses in high-pressure situations. This manual provides detailed guides and forms for almost every offense that police commonly encounter to help them provide a quicker response and better ser- vice in the field.'
'This year, as District Attorney, I authorized the use of forfeiture funds to purchase and provide more than 70 of the latest, most up-todate- manuals to ensure that each of our local agencies has access to this extremely valuable resource. It is my privilege to help these great agencies continue their dedication and commitment to learning and improving services for Austin County citizens,' Robinson added.
