The Columbus High School volleyball team has won their own tournament that they hosted, the Kecia Davis Memorial Tournament. They now have a record of 8-1 and have won their last five games in a row with their last win against Burton happening in dramat ic fashion with a late comeback to win the tournament.
This is just another year where Columbus is dominant and looking like a state title team. They’ve been playing this kind of volleyball for quite some time now and they’re recent play shows they are poised to make another big run. As they’ve shown year after year, Columbus is playing state title caliber volleyball in just the first week of the season.
