FAYETTEVILLE — The Fay- ette County Sheriff's Office, along with ICE, recently held a joint raid on property that housed over 25 individuals.
Those individuals were undocumented aliens, but that is not the reason for the raid.
The federal fugitive task force was looking for a suspect believed to have murdered Viviana Ortiz Zuniga, 39, of Fayetteville on April 16, 2025. The March 2 raid was at a property near Fayetteville owned by Carlos Vera-Flores.
