Equipment such as this engine takes a lot of money to buy, equip and maintain. The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department does a great job of coming to the rescue time and again for its jurisdiction. The people come out in droves every year in support of a professional fire department during its annual fundraiser that was held on Aug. 23, at the Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville.
