SEALY — The Austin County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) was dis patched to 1093 Anna Ln. in Sealy on Aug. 14, in reference to a juvenile with a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, Austin County EMS attempted life-saving measures for approximately 30 minutes before the juvenile was pronounced deceased.
ACSO Criminal Investigations Division and a Forensic Investigator responded, processed the scene and interviewed witnesses.
Subsequently, Jordan B. Rodriguez, 23, of Van Vleck, was charged with Criminal Negligent Homicide and taken to the Austin County Jail in Bellville for processing. The investigation is ongoing. Rodriguez is innocent until proven guilty.
