The Weimar High School volleyball team has a record below .500, but it doesn't indi cate how good this team actu- ality could be, especially with the kind of athletes they have and the kind of games they’ve played this year against quality competition. They also have first-year head coach Sabrina Ferguson, who knows the game really well and also knows the potential this team could have when they play their best.
Weimar is a really young team that doesn’t have any se- niors, so the fact they're play ing with a young team and a first-year head coach says that they're still getting things fig - ured out, but there's a sense of maturity and good coaching with this team that should be recognized. The Lady Wildcats will be getting quality experience this year that will be paying off sooner rather than later.
