A two-hour Food Handlers workshop will be held on Monday, Sept. 21, at the Fayette Agricultural Building at 255 Svoboda Ln., Room 104, in La Grange.
This course is accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
The Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER) state that “all food employees must complete an accredited food handler training course within 30 days of employment.”
Food employees must also keep their food handler’s card up to date.
The cost of the class is $20 and participants need to pre-register at least two days in advance.
