COLUMBUS — The Columbus Cardinals hosted the La Grange Leopards Sept. 4 at Memorial Stadium in Colum- bus and won by a final score of 41-31.
La Grange had the lead at halftime after executing on offense and some tough defense, then Columbus was able to make some adjustments and create just enough offense to escape with the win.
“It was a grind,” said Columbus head football coach Matt Schobel.
