FAYETTEVILLE — The Fayetteville High School volleyball team swept Somerville High School Sept. 15 at Lions Gym by a final score of 257, 25-23, 26-9.
Except for the second set where Somerville showed some life, this was total domination from Fayetteville as their offense was simply just too much for Somerville to keep up with.
“The second set, we had eight attack errors and then we also missed five serves," said Fayetteville head volleyball coach Marcus Sodek. "In the first set, we had zero missed serves and only four attack errors, so just kind of cleaning things up on our end is basically all we did.”
