Master Gardener's Lunch-NLearn Series – Native Fruits

LA GRANGE — The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn educational program is designed to provide gardening or general landscaping for homeowners. Master Gardeners plan and present a variety of information from experts from across the state.

This series is designed with the professional in mind. Bring your lunch and learn about a variety of topics that help you have a more productive gar- den, prettier flower beds, or how to better understand your landscape ecosystems.

The topic this month, “Na- tive Fruits" is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct.13, and the guest speaker will be Stephen Janak, extension program specialist. Most struggle to grow apples and peaches, even though they are our favorite fruits. Registration begins at 11:50 a.m. and the program lasts till 12:50 p.m.

The Lunch-N-Learn Series are held at the Fayette County Agricultural Building at 255 Svoboda Ln. in La Grange. All Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn programs are free. Bring your own lunch and drink. Light refreshments are available from master gardener hospitality hosts.
