Clay Ferguson has recently been removed from his assignments as the head football coach and athletic director at Schulenburg. This happened while they reached the 0-5 mark in the football season.
Marty Bigham has taken over the head coaching role for football and Donald Zapalac has been named the interim athletic director.
The Shorthorns are still looking for their first win of the season, but came close to accomplishing it a couple weeks ago when playing Thrall at home.
Losing by a final score of 41-20, the score didn’t indicate how close that game actually was.
In the mean time, Schulenburg has some decisions to make regarding who their next hire will be as football coach and athletic director.
