LA GRANGE - Mi - chelle Walker will be shar - ing her love of fabric collage at an upcoming evening meeting Tuesday, Oct. 27 and a workshop at the Tex as Quilt Museum the next day, Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. On Tuesday eve - ning, Oct. 27, Walker will be conducting a trunk show with several types of fabric collages and explaining the details of each piece. Fabric Collage is an art form where you layer, over - lap, and secure small fabric scraps onto a foundation material to create a textured picture and design. Some -

On Wednesday, the fol - lowing day, join in on her workshop at the Texas Quilt Museum to watch her apply these methods. She will share tips and tricks to complete either a Hum mingbird, Flower or Texas Bluebonnet collage with fabric. There is a workshop fee for the supplies, depending upon which collage you pick, and pre-registration is required.
