The Flatonia High School football team has a record right at .500 with four wins and four losses. They recently took a tough loss to Shiner, but Shiner did the same thing to Weimar a few weeks ago and are looking like, without a doubt, one of the best teams in the state.
In only head coach Matt Uzzell’s second year, it’s obvious he’s established a culture with how this team plays and with some of the big wins they’ve had this year. Uzzell knows what to say to his players and it’s been paying off as this team is already much improved from years prior to when Uzzell arrived.
