FAYETTE COUNTY - Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported the morning of March 2 around 1 a.m., Sgt. Ryan Meagher conducted a traf - fic stop on State Highway 71 in the westbound lane near Old Lockhart Road on a 2016 Red Camry for a traffic violation. Meagher made contact with the driver and observed a holster in plain view with no weapon in it and the vehicle was occupied by three males. Meagher asked the driver about a weapon and was advised the weapon was in the driver's door pouch. Assisting Meagher was Depu - ty Seth Nagel who arrived on the scene as consent to search the vehicle was given to Meagher. While searching the vehicle the driver admitted to having marijuana in the trunk. Meagher located two large bags of marijuana in the trunk and two handguns in the vehi - cle. Romario Nathan Barrett, 22 of Austin, was arrested and transported to the Dan R.
