Turtle Wing Foundation to host Informational Workshop on ADHD for educators, parents and their children

FLATONIA — Turtle Wing Foundation will be holding an informational workshop for educators, parents and their children who are living with ADHD Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lyric Theatre located at 120 E. South Main St.in Flatonia.

The discussion will be moderated by LaKeisha Brown-Moore, MSW/LCSW/Psychotherapist.

This will be very interactive and we encourage all of those interested to bring their questions and concerns as well as to share their life experiences for a better understanding for all in attendance.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that has been clinically observed for more than 200 years. It is one of the most prevalent childhood psychiatric disorders.

ADHD remains under-recognized and underdiagnosed even though it is the most treatable psychiatric disorder.
