Brother Knights of Columbus members participated in the annual March for Life to Support Pro-Life in Columbus on Jan. 25 with approximately 75-plus participating. Guest speaker was Brother Knight Jonathan Dooley. The event was organized by Brother Knight Deacon Charlie Novosad and Larry “Bear” Kana. COLUMBUS — The 76th Annual Columbus FFA Show and Sale generated $141,435 last Saturday at the Robert “Bobby” Marburger Agriculture Education Center at Columbus High School in Columbus.

The Columbus Garden Club chose Columbus State Bank located at 1102 Milam St. in Columbus to receive its Community Beautification Award for February. The bank has a beautiful and welcoming courtyard with a winding path landscaped with knock out roses, red and white cyclamens, giant liriope, variegated pittosporum, dwarf yaupon, lantanas, crepe myrtle and magnolias. Confederate jasmine climbs on a backdrop on the brick wall. Tables and chairs are along the path making a quiet and beautiful place to enjoy.
