Columbus Chamber selects new Junior Ambassador
COLUMBUS — Alejandro Salinas been selected as the 2020-2021 Junior Ambassador for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. In his role he will become involved in many of the chamber’s city-wide events and will serve with the chamber as the face of Columbus.
The selection process was based on a variety of factors including extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, grade point average and essays. “We’re looking to foster the future leaders of Columbus,” said Billy Kahn, chamber executive director. “We expect our Junior Ambassador to support and promote business along with us, and to help us advance the economic vitality and quality of life in our community.”
After meeting certain requirements, Salinas, will be awarded a $3,000 scholarship towards his higher education.
