Most tri-county schools fare well on TEA ratings

The Texas Education Agency last week released the second round of its controversial A-F ratings for state school districts and individual campuses as part of a new statewide accountability system rolled out last year. The new accountability system has proved controversial because it relies heavily on the results of standardized testing administered to Texas students across different grade levels.
