Kenneth Dale Norsworthy, age 67, of La Grange, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2025. Born on January 24, 1958, in La Grange, Kenny was a proud lifelong resident of the area.

Kenny lived life with a strong sense of independence and joy. He loved spending time on the coast, riding his motorcycle, visiting Delta Downs, and working on his trucks. A passionate cook, Kenny was a dedicated member of the Cistern Mesquite Cookers BBQ team, competing across Texas and earning numerous championship titles along the way.

As the owner and operator of K & D Trucking, Kenny built a successful business grounded in hard work and lasting relationships. He took great pride in his work and the friendships he formed throughout the years.

Kenny shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dianna Venghaus Norsworthy. He cherished time with his family and found great joy in being a husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna; his son, Chris Norsworthy; and his grandchildren, Luke and Jane Norsworthy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Lisetta Rosenberg; his father, Jesse Norsworthy; and his mother, Diane Rosenberg.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the La Grange Animal Shelter, any cancer research organization, the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department, or a charity of your choice.

In accordance with Kenny’s wishes, no formal memorial service will be held. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date to honor his memory.
