Weimar Vets slip from second-place tie to fourth place

The Weimar Vets slipped from a second-place tie in the Community League to fourth place after a 3-0 loss in the regular-season finale in Victoria on Sunday, June


Serbin’s win over Jackson County gave the Jackrabbits the No. 1 seed. Both teams will have a first-round bye for the playoffs, which start on July 14. The Vets will host the winner of La Grange and New Ulm at 3 p.m. at Strickland Field. Those two teams were rained out this past Sunday and will have to make up the game to determine the final two seeds for the playoffs.
