Lady Shorthorns catching fire in volleyball
Lady Shorthorns catching fire in volleyball
After making a state tournament appearance last year, Schulenburg volleyball is headed toward the same path after a streak of wins over the past couple weeks. The Lady Horns now have a record above .500 with some cushion and recently went on a five-game win streak with victories against Fayetteville, La Grange, Waelder, Lexington, and Round Top-Carmine. Three of those wins were sweeps and the win against Round Top is a quality one. Even though Round Top is a class below Schulenburg in 1A, the Cubettes have been ranked in the top 10 for the TGCA Volleyball Poll throughout the entire season. 09/13/2023 23:00
