Weimar struggles vs Ganado in baseball
WEIMAR – Weimar Wildcats baseball took a loss to Ganado High School April 5 at Veteran’s Park in Weimar by a final score of 19-4. The Indians poured it on the entire game with tons of hitting and Weimar wasn’t able to overcome the big deficit. "The first round, we came back and beat them in nine innings,” said Weimar head baseball coach Colton Maiorka. “It’s always a hard fought game when we play Ganado. This time around, they were out for blood. They came out and put it on us pretty good tonight, so we got to go back and win the next three hard games and hopefully get in the playoffs. That’s what our goal is for right now.” 04/10/2024 23:00
