Catching rain in a bucket
RESS “When the well’s dry, we know the worth of water.” This is such a true quote by Benjamin Franklin. Our wells may not dry up, but when the electricity goes out and the water wells can’t pump the water for the plants, garden and inside-the-house uses, the value of water goes up. As the cost of electricity to run the water well increases and your plants and gardens are panting for water, the worth of water goes up.

Texas’ power grid reported record electricity use early last week. Both the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas are urging residents and businesses to voluntarily reduce electricity use as temperatures soar above100 degrees over much of the state. So far the grid, which administers 90% of the state’s power load, has been able to keep up with demand.

Dancing Over the Mountain
Wyoming: The moment hung empty. Or, maybe I was just that dumb. There were several lessons waiting to be learned that was splashing off my hard head like water off a rock. Yet like a smooth river stone, the water eventually has its effect.
