Food and friendship at chamber mixer
COLUMBUS – The quarterly chamber mixer on Sept. 21 was hosted by the Live Oak Art Center in Columbus. A buffet fit for a king or queen was spread out for all to enjoy as the smile on Carrie McRee, of Edward Jones can attest. Refreshments were served from the full bar in the back and friends, and friendsto- be, introduced themselves and discussed the art on the walls and whatever else came to mind. Columbus Chamber Executive Director Becky Nutt struck up conversation with everyone who came through the door, at the well attended event. 09/27/2023 23:00

Where's the pot of gold?
Legend has it that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Could it be just in those bushes? There doesn’t seem to be any Leprechauns around, either! This beautiful rainbow appeared on Sept. 1 near Columbus. Banner Press photo by John Jones 09/20/2023 23:00
