WALLIS – The Brazos High School boy’s basketball team faced off against Victoria West High School and won handedly by pouring it on in the second half with a final score of 54-30. PFLUGERVILLE – The Bellville High School football team is heading to Cowboy Stadium in Arlington for the UIL State Football Championship game as they defeated Wimberley High School Dec. 7 in flugerville in thrilling fashion by a final score of 35-33. This was a game where the two teams answered each other’s scores throughout the match and a missed extra point by Wimberley late in the game made a huge difference as the Texans weren’t able to convert on a last second two-point conversion, ultimately sealing the deal for Bellville. 12/13/2023 23:00

This event leads up to the Pa - rade of Lights and festivities on Saturday, Dec. 9, starting at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Parade of Lights is always fun as many people will pull out all the stops on decorating their floats while others line the streets in antic- ipation of seeing unique floats, music, food and shopping in Ea- gle Lake. As Dianne and I look around the house, we see piles of stuff. The stuff we have accumulated in just the last several years is enough to declare Mount Everest a hill.
