Fayette Savings Bank made a donation to St. Michael School in Weimar from its School Debit Card Program. FSB customers who chose to have the SMS Swords debit card contribute toward the program indirectly, as each time they make a purchase using the card, a percentage of each swipe goes to SMS. Donations are being made to all of the schools FSB has school debit cards for - La Grange, Flatonia, Schulenburg and Weimar ISDs, as well as Sacred Heart School in La Grange. Fayette Electric Cooperative employees recently participated in the Progressive Ag Safety Day held May 12 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange Safety Coordinator Larry Sulak narrated, while Lineman Justin Whited and Apprentice Lineman Justin Neiser demonstrated a variety of different scenarios that children could find themselves in while playing outside around electricity.
