SCHULENBURG — The Turtle Wing Foundation's annual Toast event is slated for Thursday, Jan.25, at Sengelmann Hall, upstairs, in Schulenburg. Doors open and cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. with hors'devours and a cash bar. The program begins at 7 p.m. The Turtle Wing Toast is a free event where all are welcome. The event's continued theme is to 'Remember, Rejoice, Renew' - remember how we started, rejoice in our accomplishments, and renew our mission for the new year. This year, the program, 'A Lasting Legacy' will be highlighting the legacy of Turtle Wing and the future legacy of The Challenger League, which is a baseball league for those with disabilities under the Weimar Little League umbrella.
