RONALD “RONNIE” CLIFTON GREAK

Ronald “Ronnie” Clifton Greak, 68, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home in Eagle Lake, Texas.

He was born to Daniel and Mary McDonald Greak on July 24, 1954 in East Bernard, Texas. Ronnie, being the second of six children, was raised in Eagle Lake, where he lived most of his life. In his youth, he worked for local rice farmers. After graduating from Rice Consolidated High School in 1973, he worked throughout his life as a mechanic and a truck driver. His last place of employment was with Louis Sides Trucking.

Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and spend ing time with his family and friends. He always managed to bring laughter and life to everyone by sharing stories from his past.

He found great companionship with his significant other Beth Hassin of Ea gle Lake, and with her children and grandchildren.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry Greak, nephew Eric Zapalac, niece Crystal Zapalac and brother-in-law Michael Hruzek.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Dan Greak Jr., of Katy; Judy Greak Zapalac and husband Randy Zapalac, and their son Edward Zapalac, all of Sealy; Christine Greak Hruzek and her sons Dustin Hruzek, Jonathan Hruzek and his wife Kristy, all of Eagle Lake; Allen Greak and wife Patricia, their daughter Shelley Greak and their son Allen Greak II, all of Brookshire; and many more loving relatives and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date. He will be placed to rest at Lakeside Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Texas.
