The Fayetteville High School girl’s basketball team has struggled throughout the ’23-’24 season, but picked up two big wins recently against McDade and Richards High Schools in backto- back fashion. The McDade game was a 20 point win of 41-21 and the Richards game was a 4941 final result.
The La Grange High School girl’s basketball team has kept their winning record intact with back-to-back blowout wins.
Weimar boy’s basketball is much improved from last year under second year head coach Jakob Rehak.
The Faith Academy Knights Basketball season has begun and the Knights are sitting at 4-8. The season started with wins over Banff and Round Top-Carmine. The Knights then competed in the Somerville Tournament losing to Somerville, Hempstead White and Somerville JV. Over the Christmas break, the Knights played Aristoi Classical and Burton, losing to both. On Jan. 4, the Knights defeated Still Creek Christian. This past Saturday, Jan. 6, they competed in the Banff Tournament going 1-3. Defeating Banff and losing to Pasadena Faith, Humble Christian and the Connection School.
